@Shiplu:
Yes, you are right. Most people prefer to run after the next big opportunity and forget their career goal. In Bangladesh it is a lot easier to loose faith. Another problem is we cannot think in global context yet. So we are giving up the career track which is most highly paid in the world, for the career that is highly paid in Banglasesh. I always cultivated some ego about that, so it saved me. God bless the rest.

@Omi:
Yes, can't deny that. I have nothing against ads. But they keep advertising inside the news and the feature pages too.

And thanks for appreciating.

Can’t people like Omi Azad do anything about that? Anyone from Prothom Alo or Daily star?

I believe the won't do that ever. Because the people in there gets their salary only for the corporates like GP/AKTEL/BanglaLink/CityCell/Warid. If they stop putting their full/half page ad there, how come the related people will get fancy salary?

I like this part
"""a generation of stereotypes coming out of “universities” with engineering and CS degrees to become zombies in the mobile industry. These mobile companies indirectly wrecked the vision of creating N thousand programmers per year from our education system. Rest was wrecked by the low (very very very low) paying software companies"""

Some days ago I had a post on telecommunication jobs on our group as some of us was going to join telecommunication companies.
Here is it
----------------------------------------------------------
Hi,
I don't know why people from our sector applies to telcom sector. For the whole 4 years all they learn about Computing. We had 1/2 course on communication. such as EC. and we got a 3/4 hours class on GSM. But Still our student wanna go there. They learn new lessons on those topics and then applies. This is something like an economics guy is becoming a web developer by learning some language. But the guy should be economist or something similar to that. May be the salary of web developer is higher than that of economist.
similarly the salary of telcom * (* can be supervisor, operator, engineer) is higher than that of computer engineer. If a short time lesson can give you high salary then what about the long time 4 years lesson. If you get good job by that short time lesson, then why don't you get good job by that 4 years lesson. May be you were not that attentive. I mean you actually were less attentive in those 4 years than this 1 week (may be this is the short duration).
Whatever, its everyones own decision. But its wise to avail what have already.
